Isolate the target
Use different SIP, RTP and management ports or a disconnected network. A restore drill must never register production trunks or endpoints.
Restore and verify
Mark the backup verified only after the restored services and sample call path pass.
- Validate the encrypted bundle manifest and checksum.
- Restore database, media, recordings and generated telephony configuration.
- Apply only migrations supported by the restored release.
- Run tenant counts, routing checks and a local two-extension test.
